At E.y.E, we have a strong and committed research arm, whose expertise in both Fundamental and Technical Analysis is sure to broaden our members’ investment knowledge.

Programme Structure

Our club recognizes that there is an entire spectrum of investors within the school population and we have structured a program to best cater to the different segments. There are a total of 4 different programs that we carry out to educate the investment community in our school.

Members are encouraged to join multiple programs and should take into account their own investing experience when joining the different programs.

Basic Research Meetings

These meetings are for fresh investors and students who are interested to start their investment education. We teach investment basics, fundamental analysis as well as technical analysis.

The objective of these meetings is to get the students comfortable with investing their own money.

Basic Research Meetings will take place at 4 - 5pm every Friday

Advanced Research Meetings

These meetings cater to the students who already have some experience with investing. We cover more advanced fundamental and technical analysis. We also conduct weekly market updates to make sure everyone is up to date on what is moving the markets.

The objective of these meetings is to help these experienced investors develop an investment system for their own use.

Advanced Research Meetings will take place at 5 - 6pm every Friday

Research Subcommittee

This is a project based initiative that aims to give participants an avenue to apply what they have learnt. There are a total of 5 groups and each group will cover a different sector.

During the program, they will have to do in depth analysis on the economic environment and industry trends. Participants will then select a company and research its strategies. They will then use Discounted Cash Flow analysis and Relative Valuation to complete the initiating coverage for their company.

Research Subcommittee Meetings will take place from 6.15 - 7pm every Friday from week 3 to week 9.

Forex Meetings

This session caters to those who are interested in forex. The foreign exchange market (forex or FX for short) is one of the most exciting, fast-paced markets around. With an increasingly globalised world, markets are increasly correlated, especially in the currency market. During these sessions, you will learn about how to trade in currencies and receive market tips and insights.

Forex Meetings will take place (concurrently with BRM) 4 - 5pm every Friday.
