Wong Yi Hong Michelle

PRESIDENT

Michelle is a penultimate undergraduate pursuing a degree in Bachelor of Science (Economics) and a second major in Finance. Since her Polytechnic days, her passion in finance has been fueled by her curiosity for understanding the intricacies of financial markets. It is this fervour that led her to join EYE Investment Club. Joining EYE has provided Michelle a platform to forge meaningful connections and expand her professional network, opening doors for her to explore various career prospects in finance. Within the club, Michelle discovered a supportive community of like-minded friends who share her enthusiasm for finance. In her free time, she finds solace and adventure in hiking and kayaking.

Denise Chung Qiu Ting

VICE PRESIDENT, STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT

Denise is a second-year undergraduate pursuing a degree in Bachelor of Business Management. Being interested in finance since young, she embarked on her EYE journey so as to gain a deeper exposure and understanding in the world of finance. EYE has given her a multitude of opportunities to learn more about the different asset classes which she was not familiar with prior to joining the club. By attending events held by EYE, she has broadened her horizons of the finance industry and was exposed to various perspectives from professionals in the field. Denise has shared some of the fondest and impactful memories with her friends in the club throughout her analyst journey. During her free time, Denise does track & field leisurely and enjoys going to the gym and attending fitness classes.

Chong Song Kai

VICE PRESIDENT, RESEARCH

Song Kai is a second-year undergraduate, who is pursuing his bachelor's degree in Business Management. Unsure but interested about investing, Song Kai found that EYE Investment Club is a great place to learn more about investments. This led him to join EYE Investment Club, to learn more about different asset classes, hone his technical and presentation skills and expand his horizon and network with likeminded individuals. Furthermore, EYE has provided Song Kai with many opportunities to connect with alumni who are industry professionals in various fields, which has provided him valuable advice in crafting a potential career path. Song Kai has also found a community of inquisitive, driven, and like-minded friends in EYE, enhancing his university experience. Song Kai’s hobby includes watching football, playing mahjong and percussion jamming.

Joshua Ho Yong Jin

VICE PRESIDENT, EVENTS

Joshua is a second year undergraduate who is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Having done his own personal investing during his days in the army, Joshua joined EYE Investment to further grow his interest in investing and to learn more about investment research. As an analyst from the Fixed Income (FI) division, Joshua learnt valuable skills such as credit analysis, financial modelling and constructing strong investment theses. He had also found a strong community of like-minded friends with similar passions. As the Vice President of Events, his main goal is to bring dynamic and insightful events to the next batch of analysts. Outside of work, Joshua enjoys playing and watching football, and loves playing music during his spare time.

Cheng Jun Jie

RESEARCH DIRECTOR, FA (TMT)

Jun Jie is a penultimate undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a Major in Finance. With a keen interest in exploring the world of finance and learning more about investments, Jun Jie joined EYE Investment Club as an analyst under the Fundamental Analysis (FMCG) division, where he learned advanced financial concepts and found a close-knit group of like-minded friends. Having benefitted greatly from the technical knowledge, career guidance and networking opportunities, Jun Jie hopes to pay it forward by enabling the same positive experience that he had to future batches of analysts & general members. In his free time, Jun Jie enjoys hanging out with his friends and playing basketball.

Marcus Yeo Jun Hao

RESEARCH DIRECTOR, FA (REITS)

Marcus is a penultimate undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Bachelor of Business Management. His passion for investments began when he started to manage his family’s finances. To further hone his financial acumen and be more risk aware, Marcus joined EYE Investment Club in the Fundamental Analysis (REITs) division to gain a deeper understanding of the finance industry. During his time in EYE, Marcus’s biggest takeaway would be the circle of like-minded friends and the technical skills that is difficult to gain from in-classroom theory. As such, Marcus decided to run for the executive committee in hopes to create a similar experience for future analysts and general members. Outside of work, Marcus enjoys hiking, photography and a warm cup of tea.

Daren Kim Jo Shin

RESEARCH DIRECTOR, FA (FMCG)

Daren is a penultimate undergraduate, pursuing a degree in Bachelor of Science (Economics) with a Second Major in Finance. He joined EYE Investment Club's Fixed Income Division as an Analyst where his passion for Finance was sparked and helped him develop a keen interest in Capital Markets and Research. Through EYE, he has met and developed a close bond with his fellow division mates who have helped him grow as an Analyst been his pillars of support throughout his Finance journey, and hopes to help incoming batches do the same. In his free time, Daren enjoys watching movies and hanging out with friends.

Lee Zhe Hao

RESEARCH DIRECTOR, TA-Equities

Zhe Hao is a second-year undergraduate, pursuing a degree in Bachelor of Business Management. He joined EYE Investment as a Technical Analyst to build on his passion for equity research and gain exposure in the finance sector, while furthering his financial knowledge with the resources EYE provides. EYE Investment has provided him with valuable opportunities to interact with like-minded peers as well as countless networking opportunities. In his free time, he enjoys travelling and photography.

Chng Zhe Xun

RESEARCH DIRECTOR, TA-EQUITIES

Zhe Xun is a second-year undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accountancy. His journey in EYE started with a desire to gain a deeper knowledge in personal investment. As an analyst in the Technical Analysis Division, EYE has provided him a community to grow his technical and interpersonal skills through like-minded peers and alumni. Additionally, Zhe Xun considers joining EYE as one of his best decisions at SMU as he has found some of his closest friends there. He decided to join the Executive Committee to give back to the club and to create an enjoyable and enriching experience for the incoming batch of analysts and general members. In his free time, Zhe Xun enjoys squash, gymming and playing mahjong.

Denzel Toh Kai Quan

RESEARCH DIRECTOR, FX

Denzel is a second-year undergraduate, pursuing a Bachelor of Science (Information Systems). His purpose in contributing to the Exco is to build a strong foundation in Forex/Macro for the incoming analysts, to expose them to different perspectives in finance. He was from the Forex division and his first key takeaway was to adopt a logical yet detailed thought process that allows me to be ahead of the market, while being able to back up my stand with evidence. And secondly, he had the opportunity to meet driven like-minded people that pushes him to be better. His hobbies include boxing, basketball as well as trading!

Ang Hshi Qi

RESEARCH DIRECTOR, FX

Hshi Qi is a penultimate undergraduate, pursuing a degree in Bachelor of Science (Economics). She enjoys teaching and would like to enhance incoming analysts’ knowledge of global markets and Forex. Her hobbies include playing the piano and singing.

Gwyneth Wang Ying’En

FINANCE DIRECTOR

Gwyneth is a penultimate undergraduate, pursuing a degree in Bachelor of Accountancy and Business Management. Intrigued by the world of finance, she joined EYE Investment Club under the Technical Analysis division to explore the wide range of exciting opportunities the industry has to offer. With a supportive community of like-minded individuals, she has broadened her horizons and honed her analytical skills through the club's weekly meetings and events. She hopes to give back to the club and make EYE an enriching experience for all members. In her free time, she enjoys playing squash and spending time with friends and loved ones.

Chan Xiao Long

MARKETING DIRECTOR

Xiao Long is a second-year undergraduate pursuing a degree in Bachelor of Business Management. Having prior interest in equity trading in the equities market, he joined EYE Investment Club to gain greater insight into the trading scene for various markets. EYE have provided him the avenue to explore new markets and meet professionals, alumni and like-minded individuals who broaden his knowledge in the various markets. During his free time, Xiao Long enjoys seeking various cuisines, exploring different cultures and travelling for new hiking experiences.

Chai Ying Xuan Charlene

HONORARY GENERAL SECRETARY

Charlene is a second-year undergraduate, pursuing a degree in Bachelor of Accountancy and Business Management. Hoping to explore various career opportunities within the finance industry, Charlene joined EYE Investment Club in the Technical Analysis division. While having no prior finance background, her time in EYE provided her with a supportive environment to learn investment knowledge and develop invaluable connections. After experiencing such a fulfilling journey in EYE, she hopes to give back to the club by enhancing the experience for future batches. Outside of her academic pursuits, Charlene enjoys cafe-hopping and travelling.

Claire Teo

Claire is a second-year undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. She joined EYE Investment Club as an analyst under the Fundamental Analysis (TMT) division to further explore her interest in Finance. During her time in EYE, Claire had the opportunity to meet like-minded individuals who actively guided her through her journey. In her free time, Claire loves baking, eating and singing.

Ng Yan Han, Elton

Elton is a second-year undergraduate pursuing a degree in Bachelor of Business Management. His desire to gain personal investment knowledge kickstarted his journey in EYE Investment as an analyst under the FA (FMCG) Division. EYE Investment Club has provided him the platform to be equipped with relevant technical skills and opportunities to gain deeper insights from industry professionals. Given the fulfilling journey he had as an analyst, he hopes to pay it forward by hosting meaningful events to value-add the next batch of analysts & general members. In his free time, Elton enjoys playing sports such as badminton and basketball.

Vera Chia Ning

Events Director

Vera is a second-year undergraduate pursuing a degree in Bachelor of Business Management. She joined EYE as a Fixed Income Analyst to expand her knowledge of capital markets and develop her interest in finance. Through EYE, Vera was able to hone a variety of technical and analytical skills, including financial modelling and valuation methodologies, as well as network with industry professionals. She also found a close-knit group of friends to grow and journey together. Thus, Vera decided to take on the role of an Events Director so that she can give back to the club by organizing dynamic and meaningful events for the next batch of analysts and general members. During her free time, Vera enjoys playing the piano and guitar, travelling and eating good food.
